1994: Grant and Second Printing of Guidebook

In 1994, a grant of $4,700 was given for the restoration and mounting of the Bennett Memorial Bell at the downtown train station. The bell was a gift of Kay Bennett, the widow of Edward H. Bennett, Jr., who was one of the Foundation's founders and first president (691 North Western Avenue).

That year also saw the second printing of A Preservation Foundation Guide to National Register Properties | Lake Forest, Illinois.
