The Preservation Foundation invites you to a late afternoon garden stroll in this peaceful garden in the heart of historic Lake Forest. Originally part of Howard Van Doren Shaw’s 1906 Ryerson estate, it now surrounds a stunningly beautiful David Adler home built in 1933. The three-acre property includes two ravines, which provide a dramatic accent to the formal gardens. Adler and landscape architect Ralph Griswold designed the gardens, which include a greenhouse from the 1933 World’s Fair.   Reservations are required and can be secured by registering below or by calling the Preservation Foundation office at 847-234-1230.  LFPF Members - $20.00, Non-members - $30.00.
