5:30-7:30 PM

The Preservation Foundation invites you to a late afternoon garden stroll in this peaceful garden in the heart of historic Lake Forest. Originally part of Howard Van Doren Shaw’s 1906 Ryerson estate, it now surrounds a stunningly beautiful David Adler home built in 1933. The three-acre property includes two ravines, which provide a dramatic accent to the formal gardens. Adler and landscape architect Ralph Griswold designed the gardens, which include a greenhouse from the 1933 World’s Fair.   This event will be outside, please plan accordingly.
