Fountain in Market Square

Donate

The Lake Forest Preservation Foundation relies on the generosity of preservation-minded citizens who share our commitment to preserving the historic visual character of Lake Forest.

Annual Fund

Our Annual Fund donations are totally dedicated to preservation projects in and around our community. With your help we can continue:

  • Encouraging and aiding in the restoration and preservation of historic sites, structures, landscapes, and amenities in Lake Forest

  • Presenting educational programs and publishing our newsletters to increase knowledge and awareness of Lake Forest’s historic resources

  • Observing city meetings in order to assist with preservation issues

  • Conducting research, surveys, and studies related to historic preservation

  • Recognizing projects in the community that contribute to the visual character of Lake Forest through our annual presentation of awards in preservation, rehabilitation, and construction

Tribute and Memorial Giving

A Tribute honors a friend to Preservation with a donation or annual membership in his or her name. This is a great way to celebrate a birthday, honor an accomplishment or provide a unique and special thank you. A Memorial gift can be a special way to remember someone who enjoyed and believed in the importance of Lake Forest’s visual history.

Other Ways to Give

Sponsorship: If you are part of a preservation-minded organization or service provider, or would like to make a visible contribution through a gift or Foundation that is recognized throughout the year, consider an annual sponsorship at $1000 and above. Sponsors receive mention on the Lake Forest Preservation Foundation website, Preservation newsletter, and communications throughout the membership year. Or, perhaps you would like to underwrite one of our programs or events. The choice is yours. Contact the LFPF office for details: 847-234-1230 or info@lfpf.org.

Planned Giving: Consider giving the legacy of preservation. Name Lake Forest Preservation Foundation as a beneficiary in your estate planning. Call the LFPF office for possible options.
